Naturally grown kona coffee, fruit, macadamia nuts, lilikoi from Kaawa Loa Plantation
Hawaii natural agricultural products, Kona Coffee Belt, Kona Coast, Big Island
On June 28th, 2006 Michael and Greg became the new self-appointed stewards of Ka’awa Loa. Their goal is to Malama the Aina (love and care for the land) and to maximize the variety of agricultural products grown by sustainable, organic means.
Current producing crops include avocados, bananas, mangos, papayas, coconuts, passion fruit, dragon fruit, white pineapple and Kona coffee.
Our new orchard includes oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, lemons, limes, star fruit, lichee, breadfruit, Hawaiian noni and jaboticaba. For the future, we are exploring the possibility of growing vanilla, cocoa, as well as propagating several varieties of bamboo.
